Selection variables that decide the system
- Load
- Heavier slab shoring needs 60 series standards. Lighter facade work can use 48 series tubes.
- Bay size
- Ledger lengths from 0.3 m to 3.0 m set the bay width and length. Choose to match decking and plank sizes.
- Finish
- Hot-dip galvanized is standard for long life. Painted or powder coated is available in red, orange, blue or yellow.
- Site labour
- Ringlock uses wedge pins and a hammer only. No bolts or loose fittings slow down erection.
- Region habits
- Cuplock remains common in some markets. Kwikstage and frame scaffolding suit other local practices.
Dimension data vs your project
The tables on this site show nominal sizes for standards, ledgers, braces, planks and stairs. Ringlock standards run 0.5 m to 3.0 m. Ledgers run 0.3 m to 3.0 m. Cuplock standards run 0.5 m to 3.0 m with ledgers 0.6 m to 2.5 m.
Final dimensions are confirmed with the quotation. Bay layout, lift heights and brace lengths depend on your drawings and local loading rules. We provide a 3D scheme design before you order.
Why the numbers hold
We run our own welding lines. One standards line makes 3,500 pieces per 10 hours. A standard welding machine uses 13 welding power sources at the same time.
Standards use Q355 steel. Ledgers, braces and planks use Q235. Hot-dip galvanized components have a service life of 15 years or more. Wall thickness options are 2.75 mm, 3.0 mm and 3.2 mm.
